Young Poet Laureate Map of Regions
In the below section we will require you to upload pupil entries to the Young Poet Laureate Programme. Each entry must be typed into a word document before being submitted.

You can add more than one entry by clicking on the "Add another entry" button below.
Participant age group information





Please upload the pupil’s personal statement (max 200 words) and poetry entry (max 40 lines) here.

 

Both pieces should be typed in a single Word document (we cannot accept PDF) using the following format:

 

  • The heading “Personal Statement”, followed by the pupil’s personal statement.
  • The heading “Poem”, followed by the poem’s title and the poem itself.

The document should be saved using the following naming format:

 

PupilName_YearGroup_PoemTitle

 

Example: NLT, Year 7, Poem Title

We need to hold and process your personal data in order to contact you and deliver the activity you have registered for, under the terms of this agreement. We may be required to share your data with third parties for example, to print and deliver resources or carry out evaluation.

We may wish to contact you about other activities delivered by the National Literacy Trust which are relevant to you or fall within your regional location. We will not send you marketing emails unless you opt in to receive news about the work being delivered by the National Literacy Trust. 

We will only pass data to those who have agreed to uphold the terms of our privacy policy. Data will not be shared with any other third parties unless this is required by law.
